Lunch Volunteers Needed

Our lunch program is one of the many things that our students look forward to each day. In addition it generates revenue for the PSO to be able to give back to the school. Though, it is volunteer-driven and its success depends greatly on having volunteers available each day to make it happen.

We encourage you to sign up as a lunch volunteer using the following link, whether you are able to volunteer every week or just once in a while your service will be greatly appreciated!

We will be having a lunch volunteer meeting Thursday, August 17th in the boardroom in the administration building. Plan on meeting at approximately 8:15 am- after drop-off.
Please sign in as a visitor at the front desk.

Remember, if your fingerprint card is still in process do not let that hold you back from volunteering. You may still serve accompanied by a another fully cleared volunteer.

Thank You!

Headmaster Letter

Dear North Phoenix Prep Families,

What a joy it is to have students on campus!  I spent the majority of my time roaming our hallways and classrooms last week, and it is so satisfying to witness our teachers building healthy relationships with their students by sharing their passion for their subject.  It is also incredibly rewarding to see our students helping one another navigate the campus, welcoming new students by sitting with them at lunch, and looking sharp in their uniforms!

Last week Dean Schripsema and I had the opportunity to speak with all of our students and to share how excited we are about this year and the many opportunities that are ahead of us.  Especially during our conversation with the Juniors and Seniors, we conveyed the deep desire of our faculty to partner with these incredible young people in cultivating a strong school culture.  That's because we believe that our older students need to experience real freedom as part of their education.  Real freedom means thinking deliberately about what's true, good, and beautiful.  It means accepting responsibility for the choices that you make.  It means considering the whole community and not just what's gratifying to a faction or an individual.

Thanks to the education they are receiving both at home and at our Academy, our students are becoming truly free.  Like anyone, they are a work in progress.  As parents, you certainly know that to be true!  Yet our students are gaining each day a little more freedom from the bonds of ignorance and vice, and a little more freedom for the sake of pursuing what's elevated and noble.  As we begin this year at North Phoenix Prep, I have to say that our students make me incredibly proud to be a Gladiator!

With Devotion,
Headmaster Weinhold

P. S. Thanks to everyone for your patience as we fine-tune our traffic procedures.  We will continue working with the City of Phoenix and the Phoenix Police Department to make this process as efficient as possible for our families.

Being Good Neighbors

North Phoenix Prep is new to the neighborhood, and we want to be good neighbors!

Thank you for helping us show our community that we are great-hearted by keeping clear of the neighborhoods surrounding the school, especially during morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal.
