Headmaster Letter

Dear North Phoenix Prep Families,

I want to thank everyone for the generous outpouring of well-wishes and congratulations at the birth of my daughter, Sophia Grace.  The past few weeks have been a special time of bonding with our extended family.  Shelly and I are particularly grateful for her parents' support on the homefront.  As you can see, they have enjoyed bonding with their newest grandbaby!

Grandma and Sophia

Though I probably look bleary-eyed during morning drop-off, it is so good to be back serving our wonderful community of teachers and students.  I've especially enjoyed talking with our sophomores and juniors during lunch and Lyceum about the recent homework survey.  Their capacity for honest self-reflection is evidence that their souls are being well-formed.  I look forward to discussing the survey results with our faculty this week, and to devising strategies that will keep our homework meaningful, unambiguous, and humane.

With Devotion,
Headmaster Weinhold
