Headmaster Letter

Dear North Phoenix Prep Families,

Friday’s Junior/Senior drama performance was truly a magical evening.  I am so proud of our students and their beloved director, Ms. Harris.  We can all be grateful for the hours and hours of rehearsal that went into making Friday’s performance so enjoyable.  The theatrical experience is also one that truly benefits the students on the stage, because it is an opportunity to develop confidence, presence, and eloquence.  I personally cherish the moments when an otherwise reserved student surprises all of us with his or her dramatic aptitude.  Shakespeare famously wrote that all the world’s a stage, and so learning the art of performance is a vital part of their education at our Academy.

I also want to take a moment to address our recent Fall survey feedback.  Something that we heard loud and clear was the need for more streamlined & consistently updated communication with families.  That’s why we recently updated the format of our weekly emails through constant contact.  In the coming weeks, we are also conducting a full review of our websites to check for broken links and outdated information.  Getting the right information to the right people at the right time in the right format is always a challenge, but that’s our goal & we are striving to improve in this area.  If you have ideas about how we can accomplish that goal, then please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Finally, please remember that this is Snowstorm season.  Snowstorm is an opportunity for families to show their gratitude to our beloved faculty.  Please consider making a financial contribution this holiday season.   Your support shows our teachers how much they mean to us!

With Devotion,

Headmaster Weinhold
