9th Grade Parent Meeting: September 30th

Mr. Topper will begin a series of grade level meetings for the first semester. The meetings will occur on Wednesday mornings at 8:10 AM in the H (lunch) building. He will present the grade level curriculum and teaching priorities for that grade level, discuss the goals for the year and skills that students should be developing.

He will also bring one grade level teacher to the meeting. Parents are welcome to come and share their grade level focused questions for discussion.
  • Grade 9: Wednesday, September 30th 
  • Grade 10: Wednesday, October 7th

Gardening Club Starts Sept 29th

Gardening club will begin Tuesday September 29, 3:30 -4:30 in room 501. Cost is $100 per member. We will make 7 different take-home projects involving growing from seed, drying and pressing flowers, and forcing bulbs. There will also be a field trip to a local farm where we will see a tree, all the parts of which are edible and/or beneficial.

  • The contest runs through October 30th.

Paper Drive Event This Saturday!

Spend a lot of time at Costco filling the cupboards? Well....on October 3 the Cave Creek Costco is having a fundraiser for local schools. From 8 am to 10:30 am when you spend $75, the school will receive a ream of paper. Last year we "won" five cases! Hoping to do much better this year - stock up for the upcoming holidays and help us stock up on paper!
